As a Doula, I Do Not:
Free Consultation
I offer free one hour in person consultations with new clients. This gives you, as the potential client and myself as the potential Birthkeeper/Doula, an opportunity to get to know one another and feel out each other's energy with no obligations to move forward in the event we are not a good fit.

I am not a medical provider. I do not perform any clinical tasks or medical procedures. I do not prescribe/diagnose/treat medical conditions. I do not perform or facilitate labs, blood work or ultrasounds.

Unlimited Phone & Email/Text Support
I am always available during daytime and early evening hours via phone and email/text support for all of my clients throughout their pregnancy.
Prenatal Visits
Prenatal visits are a great time to discuss any questions or concerns you and/or your partner may have about your upcoming birth. This time also allows us to build a deeper connection in order to establish a foundation of mutual trust. Each visit will last up to 2 hours and I will spend time going over different laboring positions; ways your partner can get involved; different pain relief techniques to increase your comfort level AND MORE!! We will review your birth plan together, discuss your expectations for your labor & birth experience and I will provide you with information that goes over the risks and benefits of different procedures or interventions, in order for you to make a fully informed choice. During this time you and your partner can listen to your baby's heart beat, belly map and get a feel for what position your baby is currently in.
Labor/Birth Support
I remain on call 24/7 for you 2 weeks prior to your estimated due date (38 weeks gestation). Labor support is tailored to each client's needs. Birth is unpredictable and knows no limits, I believe your support should be without limits (to the extent of the law of course). I provide both emotional and physical support for mothers and partners, along with giving you the information you need in order to make a fully informed and empowered choice for you and your baby. As a holistic Birthkeeper my focus is on mother's who desire a natural at home birth.
Postpartum follow-up visit
3-5 days PP I like to come by your home for about an hour or two to check in on you and baby to make sure everyone is adjusting well. During this time I will offer to lend a helping hand wherever you might need me whether it be for mom and dad to take a nap or shower while I keep an eye on baby or do a load of laundry for you while your body heals, I can even prepare meals for you. We will talk about the potential PP changes you may be experiencing and discuss ways to cope with those changes. During this time we can also go over any breastfeeding concerns or wins you want to share with me. I am also well versed in breastfeeding and am able to help with any troubleshooting with babies latch.
